Musical Heart overlay mosaic square

This features a popular symbol of a heart made with a treble clef & a bass clef, great for those who love music! Use this square for other projects such as block afghans, pillows, tote bags, placemats, etc.

This pattern includes a fully marked chart & written row-by-row instructions.

Any yarn or hook will work, depending on the desired size of the finished square. I generally like using a yarn weight of 4 with a 5.5 hook, which creates a square of 13.5” x 13”.

You will need 2 colors of yarn - approximately 100 yds of the background color & another 100 yds for the heart & border, if using medium weight #4 yarn and a 5.5mm hook.
