Materials: Worsted weight yarn, approx 220 yds/100 gm skein. Sweater shown uses Rowan’s Rowanspun Aran. I set each #3, #6 needles, some double pointed needles and some stitch holders, crochet hook size G**, 7 buttons. **I prefer to join knitted pieces and reinforce edges with crochet, which produces durable seams and firm edges.
Gauge: 5 st/in, 7 rows/in #6 needles*** *** This sweater uses smaller needles than is customary for this weight yarn. The tighter gauge results in a better fitting, longer lasting garment. A Mari Sweater fits and it flatters. Sleeves are knitted from the shoulders down to the cuff.
