Mock Cable Hat

This hat pattern is a companion to my previously published Mock Cable Mitts pattern, and was a delight to create. I cast on for the ribbing without any clear idea how the crown decreases would work out with the mock cable ribs, but to my surprise and delight, as I worked the decreases flowed organically to the top of the hat. The matching set would be a wonderful warm addition to your winter wardrobe, or a lovely gift for a treasured friend.
