Miss Ermine's Winter Coat

The ermine becomes elusive in the winter by donning her winter coat of pure-as-the-driven snow white fur. I have seen only two in my 11 years living in the Rocky Mountains - it takes your breath away to see them scurry over the snow - this cowl is my tribute to the beauty of the snow ermine.

Materials needed: Knitpicks Wonderfluff Yarn – 1 skein Bare; 1 skein Wellies Heather (small amount used for tail) Crochet hook size H 5.5 mm Crochet Hook size K 6.5 mm Yarn needle Pink and black embroidery floss (for face) 2-3” of ribbon (for closure loop) Sewing thread and needle
