About 30 years ago, the Minnesota Knitter’s Guild Yarnover event was annually held at St. Catherine’s University in St. Paul, Minnesota. I have fond memories of the people, the classes, the market, as well as the beautiful old campus. Knitters are interconnected by a common language and love of the craft and this twisted “shawl,” with connecting cables and intersecting lattice stitches, symbolizes knitters in Minnesota as well as worldwide. I also realize the limited time knitters have today, as everyone is busy and rushing about, a DK weight shawl is the perfect project for knitters on the go.
ERRATA: Page 5 second column Rows 5 and 6 should both read: repeat to last 5 stitches (instead of 6).
