Mini London Jubilee Bus

This is a miniature version of the original, cushion sized London Bus; this one fits in the palm of your hand and can also be decorated in a way you choose. I designed this version in May 2022, so I chose to decorate it with references to Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations. You could embroider it with a name and date of birth instead

Measurements The completed London bus will measure approximately as follows: Length: 15cm/6” Width: 8cm/3” Height: 10cm/4”

Materials Required Yarn Hayfield Double Knit yarn is a good all-rounder and is widely available Double knit yarn in the following quantities 25g in red 25g in black 25g in grey 10g of yellow (or white)

Needles One pair of straight needles in 4mm

Additional Materials 50g non-flammable toy stuffing Two 15mm silver snap fasteners/press studs Two 10mm white buttons Darning needle Black and white sewing thread Sewing needle Optional – squeaky toy insert
