Mini Gansey Sweater

I originally designed the Viggo Mini Gansey for my grandson, and I still love these photos of him in his little sweater. ♡

It has all the texture I love in a classic gansey, in a size made for little adventures. Bands of knits and purls make little diamonds and dots, and faux cables add a sweet detail across the shoulders.

The body is knit in the round from the hem to the armholes, then the front and back are worked separately. The sleeves are picked up and knit down to the cuffs, and a folded ribbed neckband finishes it off.

Written in English for worsted weight yarn, in five sizes for ages 2 (3/4, 5/6, 7/8, 9/10). The PDF includes written instructions and a measurement schematic to help you choose a size.
