Mina Loves knitting and this hat has been designed to capture this using a Celtic heart motif on a simple reverse stocking stitch pattern.
If you've never attempted cables before and are an adventurous learner then this could the opportunity to have a go. The Celtic heart uses a couple of different cable stitches over a small number of stitches, so go ahead and knit yourself some love!
**Yarn ** Shown in Hedgehog Fibres Sock 'Merlot', (90% Merino, 10% Nylon; 100 grams; 400 metres/437 yards). Pattern requires 40gs (160 metres / 175 yards).
Needles 3.0 mm and 3.5 mm 40cm circular needles
Notions 1 stitch marker to mark beginning of round and a darning needle to sew in ends.
Gauge 28 sts & 32 rows to 4” / 10 cm in Stocking Stitch
