Merletto Scarf

The Merletto Scarf is a light and open skinny scarf pattern. This little scarf adds a pop of color to your summer wardrobe without weighing you down. The open lace stitch is easy to crochet. It’s a version of the v-stitch. I chose to add fringe to the edges of the scarf, but that is optional so you can leave it off, if you prefer. I had two balls of yarn so I opted to make a scarf. However, this pattern can be sewn up into a light weight cowl, if you prefer that style. In the scarf pattern below I include instructions for both options.
