This cowl is a quick knit using worsted weight yarn. The sample shown is Berocco Vintage in "Pool Party," knit on US 7 needles.

Skills needed include provisional cast on and kitchener stitch. If the kitchener stitch is new to you, I highly recommend the free (as of this writing) Craftsy class "The Ins and Outs of Grafting."
