Meesia

Meesia represents the first shawl in the Embryophytes collection. The inspiration for this collection came through my day job working in the molecular plant sciences field. I wanted to create a collection of shawls each inspired by the big groups of plants within the embryophytes also known as land plants.

Here through the different textures I tried to capture the diversity of the mosses also called bryophytes in nature. As mosses are relatively simple plants growing nearly everywhere I wanted to keep this very simple and adjustable to wear with everything you want just to give a little extra warmth around your neck and your back just like a layer of moss covering a tree in the woods.
