Meadow Dress

The Meadow Dress is a design that has been in my head for a long time and I am beyond excited about how it has turned out! This dress is a raglan worked from the top down. The “meadow motif” is a 6 stitch repeating pattern using puff stitches and front and back post double crochet stitches. There is a very helpful stitch diagram included in the pattern to help you along the way. The dress has a significant amount of positive ease because of the ruffle row that is added to the front and back of the yoke, two rows before the sleeve separation. This ruffle row will double the stitch count so it fits very loosely around the chest. When the meadow motif is added at the hem of the dress, it is finished off with a simple single crochet shell edging. This edging is also stitched onto each sleeve and the collar.
