Marie the Ladybug

Marie is a wonderful gift and a cute travel companion. She loves to be part of your baby’s mobile and if you put a bell in her belly she makes for the cutest baby toy. Or why not add her to your key chain, spring decoration or your colleagues desktop?

The pattern is not complicated, but you will need to know how to

• knit in the round and do
• simple increases and decreases

The body is knit in one piece with eyes, dots and feet knit separately and sewn on later.  This pattern gives instructions for various methods of knitting or crocheting eyes and dots, just pick what you are most comfortable with.  The gauge is not important, but you should use needles at least one size smaller than indicated on the yarn to prevent the fiberfill from showing.
