The socks are worked toe-up on one or two circular needles, starting with an invisible cast on such as Judy’s Magic Cast On (use double-pointed needles to begin, if you prefer) and finishing with a stretchy bind off such as Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind Off. The socks feature gusset and flap heels; work the gusset increases on the sole, turn the heel with short rows, and decrease the gusset stitches away as the heel flap is worked.
