Manatee Knitting Pattern

Knit your own sweet, stuffed manatee toy! All knitted pieces are knitted flat (back and forth) on a pair of straight, single-pointed knitting needles. You will need to know how to cast on and off, knit, purl, work increases and decreases, and sew seams. Two sizes (Large and Small) are included in pattern. If using the recommended size US 5 (3.75mm) knitting needles and medium weight yarn, the finished, stuffed Small Manatee is approx. 7 inches long from head to tail. If using the size US 8 (5mm) and medium weight yarn, the finished, stuffed Large Manatee is approx. 12 inches long. This three-page pattern will show you step-by-step how to create your own manatee.
