I designed the original for my god-son's very first Christmas. Knit toe-up, with a short-row garter stitch heel, I added bits of charted color-work to keep it interesting. Two additional designs (diagonal striping or holly leaves) are included in case you don’t want to personalize this classic holiday decoration. A lining hides the carries from the color-work and finishes this heirloom to perfection. The sample is knit with a DK cotton-linen blend.
