Low-Sew Chubby Baby Budgie Plushie

Budgies come in all shapes and sizes thanks to their ability to fluff up or flatten down their feathers. But a fluffy budgie is a happy budgie, so I love it when mine settles down to make himself as chubby as this fella.

This is a beginner-friendly pattern (although it can be tricky working with fluffy yarn if you’re unpractised) as all the stitches and construction is fairly simple.

It’s also an easy low-sew pattern, but you can add extra details to the head and face with just a few straightforward stitches.

You’ll largely be working in continuous rounds so you will need to use stitch markers to help you keep track of your stitch count.
