Loputon is overly sized (very long) scarf knitted by repeating only two different alternating rows.
This fall, 2023, it seems fashionable to wear a very long and oversized scarf. Luckily I was just planning to knit a scarf, so decided to have go for a long but still light and fluffy one. Kidsilk Haze is a blend of mohair and silk yarn, and suited well for my planned design. So here it is, my take on a long and lovely warm scarf that is needed everywhere where cold is creeping in.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS are Width 30 cm|12" Length 340 cm|134" One size fits all adults.
YARN: Four skeins of Rowan Kidsilk Haze (70 % mohair, 30 % silk). This is luxurious, light brushed yarn, feather light, and will give garments a sophisticated look.
