You’ll have a blast knitting up this set for a little newcomer. Each stripe of the blanket is a different stitch pattern, and the other pieces knit up quickly in the round. The “Charlie Brown" zigzag is done in duplicate stitch after finishing. Newborn size. Approximately 1200 yards each of two colors worsted weight yarn will complete the project. Beginner crochet skills needed.

I’m afraid I didn’t knit up this pattern- or haven’t yet. I bought it for the zigzag pattern to put on a different plain pattern! A bit of juggling with number of stitches but it’s working perfectly. Might well do it as intended in the future.
