Lion in Winter Hat

Years ago I made my daughter a cap with these “lions” on them.  She loved it then and still does, as she packed it to go off to college.   We saw them on a sweater and then “unvented” them  on graph paper til we were happy with them.   I found some wool recently and finally picked up the Lions again to turn them into a hat pattern.   Make one for someone you love and “hear them roar!”    Don’t skimp on the finishing work - it’s what makes any knitting shine.  Block it, make an amazing tassel or oversized pom pom, line it with fleece to make it “snow worthy”.  Knit in the round, Lion in Winter is sized Small, Medium, Large - the Small should be suitable for most kids, Medium the average adult and Large for those with lots of hair or lots of brains!    Two of the colors used are “small ball” or scrap amounts so raid your stash!
