Lidzia is an elegant and very girly layering piece that every young lady needs for all year round wear! Interesting construction. It is like a flyaway shrug with a lace panel being knit onto the back and front raglan edges that then become a quasi-front. It is worked from top down, completely seamlessly.

Size 3mo, 6mo, 12mo (2y, 4y, 6y) 8y, 10y, 12y Finished chest (based on back width at underarms x 2): 15, 15¾, 16½ (18, 20, 22½) 25½, 28½, 31½ ” / 38, 40, 42 (46, 51, 57) 65, 72, 80 cm. This cardigan is intended to be worn open with about 2”/ 5 cm of positive ease. For the best fit, I recommend using the child’s actual chest measurement rather than the age guideline when selecting the size.

Yarn Approx. 350, 420, 530 (660, 770, 880) 1030, 1190, 1320ya/ 320, 380, 480 (600, 700, 800) 940, 1080, 1200m of Fingering weight yarn.

Gauge 26 sts and 38 rows = 4”/10cm in St st with larger needles after blocking.
