This simply elegant top is perfect for layering or for warmer weather. This is a flattering design for many body types and can be worn as a summer tee top or as an elegant layer under a sweater or jacket.

What a fun way to construct a top! The yoke is worked horizontally first, including optional front neck shaping, then the body stitches are picked up along the horizontal edges of the yoke and worked in the round. The only seams are the underarms of the short cap sleeves! 

Short rows shape the flattering hemline with longer side and back length and also magically create a slight A-line shape.  

Instructions are both charted and written.  Pattern has been tech edited and tested.

Experience Level: Accessible to an advanced beginner knitter with some lace experience. Skills used: German Short Rows (link to tutorial included), basic increases/decreases, picking up stitches.*** ***
