Large and Small Snail

Meet our absolutely adorable Large and Small Snails. They're cute, cuddly, easy to hold and very lovable. This pattern supplies directions for making both our Large and Small Snail stuffies.

These Snails are suitable for intermediate level knitters and assumes an understanding of basic stitches, short rows, i-cords and standard knitting terms. Our Snails are knit flat and sewn together using a mattress stitch.

for the Large Snail you will need approximately 20 m of medium weight yellow (Y) coloured yarn for the body and tentacles and 25 m of medium weight brown (B) coloured yarn for the shell. For the Small Snail you will need approximately 15 m of medium weight yellow (Y) coloured yarn for the body and tentacles and 14 m of medium weight brown (B) coloured yarn for the shell. This will let you create a Large Snail that’s approximately 14 cm (5.5 inches) in length and 12 cm (4.5 inches) in height. Your Small Snail will be 10 cm (4 inches) in length and 8 cm (3 inches) in height.
