Lambert Lion

This Lion is inspired by my wanting to gift three siblings I love with an African animal before their move to Kenya. The name Lambert came from the song from the classic children’s story “Lambert the Sheepish Lion” by Disney. His body is worked mostly in one piece from the top down ending with his toes. I have written two mane options but the one pictured is my favorite. I have also included instructions for making simple yarn eyes for younger kids. This pattern is for advanced beginner to intermediate. The mane takes a lot of time but is worth it! Squishably soft, Lambert is a roaring faithful friend.
