Ladder Cowl

This cowl has a lovely, lofty feel to it and once you have mastered the loopy stitch is very quick to make. The loops or ladder effect is made by drawing out a long loop on each double crochet stitch that you make, you do this by wrapping the yarn over a ruler or piece of card. The cowl is designed so you can wrap it around your neck twice to make it nice and snuggly. It is made flat and then seamed. We quite like using two contrast colours, however, just one colour would like lovely too with the benefit of only needing 3 skeins of Plump DK.

**You will need:**Plump DK: 2 skeins of MC (shown in Liquorice), 2 skeins of CC (shown in Darjeeling) 4.5mm needle ruler or piece of card approximately 3.5cm wide
