Made from two knitted main pieces to make the knitted sunflower head, a knitted stem piece, and four separate knitted leaf pieces make up two leaves. Pieces are sewn together, with or without a pin badge, hairband or hessian/box frame depending on your purpose.

4mm knitting needles (UK 8, US 6)
Double knitting yarn – yellow and dark brown for sunflower, green for leaves and stem
