Product Description
Kaarna Hat features beautiful, classic cable pattern with squishy folded double brim. The beanie is worked in the round starting with provisional cast on. The brim is worked with K1P1 rib and the stitches from provisional cast on edge are joined to create a permanent folded double brim. The instructions for the cable pattern are both written and charted. The height of the hat can be adjusted according to the cable pattern repeat.
Suggested Yarn:* Rowan, Kid Classic 50g / 140m/153yds x 2 (= approx. 220 yds. / 205 m). Can be substituted with other similar weight yarns (please check gauge).
Gauge: Ribbing: 22 sts & 23 rows / 4’’ (10 cm) / US6 / 4mm knitting needles. Stockinette stitch & main pattern: 19 sts & 18 rows / 4’’ (10 cm) / US8 / 5mm knitting needles.
