JOY C2C Square

The Christmas JOY C2C square is part of a series of Nordic Christmas C2C squares.

This square is worked with the classic double crochet corner to corner technique.

The pattern includes both written instructions and a chart.

MATERIALS

– 4-mm (G/6 USA, 8 UK) Hook

– DK (3, Light) Weight Yarn

– Tapestry Needle

I used a mix of Paintbox Yarns Simply DK (1) and Styecraft Special DK (2). See below for color codes and yardage info.

Feel free to use any DK weight yarn that meets gauge.

A – 1, Champ. White (102) – 175 yds (160 m)

B – 1, Rose Red (113) – 51.3 yds (47 m)

C – 1, Grass Green (129) – 36 yds (33 m)

D – 2, Matador (1010) – 3 yds (2.8 m)
