Joinz cardigan

Viewed from the front, Joinz cardigan looks like a common comfortable, buttoned cardigan with a nice split at the button band and dropped shoulders for your everyday wardrobe.

But a look at the back shows the interesting construction: a shoulder line shaped by decreases at the middle of the back, a lower back worked sideways and (almost) all parts joined by I-cords.

This cardigan is comfortable, versatile and interesting to knit – all of it, of course, completely seamless! And besides three stitches at each button band, there is no picking up stitches!

YARN(S)

You’ll get beautiful results with a simple fingering weight yarn held together with a mohair (blend) lace yarn. You may as well work this garment with single light-weight yarn with matching gauge (worsted), and it is up to you to work it two-coloured or single-coloured.
