Jingle Mitts

Fun and Festive! These are quick to knit and easy, too! Make them for you, your family, your friends, you coworkers....

The colors shown are traditional Christmas colors; but you can use three shades of blue for Hannukah, three shades of any lightweight dk or heavy sport weight. The only shaping is easy - the thumb gusset is done with make ones, (if you don't like working make ones, then use yarn overs instead - easy!). There is no picking up of stitches and only a bit of ribbing for shaping at the wrist.

A great way to use up your scraps, or work them in one color or self-striping yarn. They come out great without much effort which makes them excellent gifts or craft fair items.

The jingle bells are attached afterwards with white yarn.
