Product Description
The Ivy League Pullover (get it? Cause’ the cables look like ivy?) is a cropped bottom-up sweater with tons of twisted cables, a mitered square collar, and reverse stockinette details on the sides and sleeves. It’s designed to be worn with 2.5-4.5”/6-11cm of negative ease, making it a form-fitting and curve-hugging sweater that should hit the top of a high-waisted pant. (Not a fan of the crop? Not to worry, I have suggestions on how to modify length in the pattern.)
Get to know your construction: You will cast on for the hem and work the body from the bottom-up in the round. You will separate the front and back and work the front, each strap, and the back panels flat. The shoulders will be seamed together using a three-needle bind off. The collar will be picked up and knit in the round and finally, each sleeve will be picked up and then turned inside out so you can knit in the round without having to do purls exclusively.
