Ivie Top

Ivie is a girls name from Nigerian meaning juwel.

Construction: This boxy top is started by knitting the back top down to the base of the armhole. To fit the shoulders short rows are used. Then both fronts are knitted separately from the top down to the neckline. After joining both fronts and working cut out front is worked down to the base of the armhole. Here back and front are joined to work in rounds straight up to desired length.

At hem there is a simple stitch pattern. Additionally two further options with slitted hem and weave pattern are given.

You can wear Ivie top with RS or WS out, and cut out to front or to back – as you prefere. Ivie top is calculated with approx. 20-25cm positive ease.
