Humbug Shawl

This two-tone, sideways knit, crescent shawl is sweet enough to eat. It features a picot stripe on a stocking stitch background. A lace edging is applied separately to the lower edge, so is optional. The top edge is picked up and finished with a picot bind off. This pattern is charted and is rated as moderate (without edging) or advanced (with edging).

MATERIALS [MC] 100g Skein Queen Squash yarn (shown in Aunt Betty's Pond) [CC] 100g Skein Queen Squash yarn (shown in Plumberry) 100% merino; 400(437yards)/100g 3.75mm circular needles or as required to achieve the tension 2x st markers

TENSION 20sts x 36rows = 10cm/4inches over picot stripe pattern on 3.75mm needles.
