Honey Scarf

I design all my carves so that they look good on both 'right side' and 'wrong side' because. really, scarves don't have sides. This scarf is great for those who haven't tried cabling before. It is an 8 row repeat but you are only cabling on 2 rows, the rest are just knit and purl stitches. This means the knitter can relax after doing those cable rows.

This scarf is perfect for men or women, in fact I designed it for the gentlemen.

I designed this years ago and like many knitters it was on my needles for a couple of years before I finished it and that happened in a week! I am asked many times how long it takes to knit something or how long does it take me to knit something. For this scarf it took me about 2 years to knit 4 balls and one week to knit 3 balls! However that obviously doesn't represent actual knitting time as most of those 2 years it was in a bag waiting to be picked up and knitted! So actual knitting time is two weeks of evening and weekend knitting.
