I designed and 3/4 knitted this holly scarf on a Saturday afternoon as part of Jenny Wren's Yarn's Festive Gathering while also helping customers sort out their knitting problems.
This crossover scarf is given in one size, but can easily be adjusted. Measure round your neck and work the straight garter stitch section to this measurement, or add more for a looser fit. I had 25g left over after knitting the original scarf, which measures 62cm around the neck.
Alternative yarns could include Katia Peru or Artesano Aran. As yardage varies you may need more than 1 skein of any alternative yarn.
