Size One size: stretches to fit 54-56 cm/21-22" circumference. Length from brim to top - about 24.5 cm/9.75".
Yarn 1 skein of Rainbow Heirloom Sweater (100% merino; 229 m/250 yards per 115 grams). Shown in color Princess Rockstar.
Needles 4.5 mm/US #7 circular needle (at least 40 cm/16" long) and dpns, or appropriate size to get gauge; 3.75 mm/US #5 circular needle (at least 40 cm/16" long) or dpns, or three sizes smaller than gauge needles.
Other 1 stitch marker, cable needle, tapestry needle for weaving.
Gauge One cable repeat (19 sts x 16 rnds) is 6.5 cm/2.5” wide and 4.5 cm/1.75" high worked in the rnd with needle 4.5 mm/US #7, unstreched. Take time to save time and check your gauge. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
