Hedgehogs

This is a pattern for hedgehogs in two sizes: small and large. Hedgehogs are worked from nose to bum. The back loop only stitches are utilised to create rows on the back of the hedgehog. These rows are then used to work the wonderfully textured ‘spikes’.

This pattern uses US crochet terminology.

**Sizing:**Small (6.5cm wide, 7cm tall and 11 cm long) Large (9 wide, 11cm tall and 18cm long)

**Materials:**Hooks: US #6/4mm (or to match your yarn) Other: darning/sewing needle, toy stuffing Yarn aran weight: light brown 15 (30, 90) m, dark brown 15 (30, 75) m and a small amount of black yarn or thread for the eyes.
