Here is my new design: pretty Hearty Hat.
Hat is knitted in one piece in the round using the 16”/40 cm circular needles.
One size to fit an average adult head.
Finished size of band is 17”/43 cm (fits average adult head 20-22”/51-56 cm), length approx. 9”/23 cm.
Pattern contains written and charted instructions.
Gauge: 20 sts x 28 rounds = 4” (10 cm) on size 8 (5 mm) needles in cable pattern after blocking.
Tools: - size US 5 (3.75 mm) and size US 8 (5 mm) circular needles 16”/40 cm long, OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE; - one set (5) of double pointed needles (dpns) size US 8 (5 mm); - stitch markers; - cable needle; - tapestry needle
