Construction Technique

The HABIBI sweater is worked seamlessly from top to bottom, a construction method that eliminates the need for seaming and creates a polished, professional finish. The pattern begins with the shoulder yoke, where increases are strategically placed using Susie Myers' Contiguous method. This technique ensures smooth, integrated increases that blend seamlessly into the fabric. Once the shoulder yoke is established, the pattern incorporates slanted increases for the sleeves while simultaneously increasing within cable stitches on both the back and front panels. This simultaneous shaping creates balanced proportions throughout the upper body.
