Product Description
Don't sit on the fence: jump in with both feet! Wire netting ― "Grillage" in French ― doesn't have to be harsh and cold: this "chicken wire" inspired pattern wraps around your leg and provides extra warmth with the cosy garter stitch underlay. The elongated stitches of the netting showcase variegated yarn nicely, but look equally nice with a semi-solid. Grillage also incorporates a roomy short-row heel featuring "shadow wraps", for extra comfy socks (Tutorial included)
Any sock yarn is suitable. (eg. Regia 4ply, Rowan Fine Art, Cascade Heritage Silk, etc.) as long as gauge is achieved (36 sts / 10 cm)
