This pattern was designed as a fundraiser for a dear friend and fellow knitter who lost her husband in August of 2014. I was inspired by her two daughters' passion for ballet to create this pattern and hopefully ease some of the financial difficulties that she and her four children are facing.
100% of the proceeds from this pattern (after Paypal and Ravelry take their cut) will be given to this family.

Garment Overview

Yarn Requirements
The Graceful Pullover is worked in 100% Superwash Merino yarn in a fingering weight base. The yardage requirements vary by size:
- Sizes 2, 4, 6: 524, 690, and 798 yards respectively (479, 630, and 730 meters)
- Sizes 8, 10: 865 and 984 yards respectively (791 and 900 meters)
The sample was knitted in Copper Corgie's 100% Superwash Merino Fingering Base in the Pirouette colorway, demonstrating how this yarn base showcases the slip stitch cable pattern beautifully.
Gauge and Needles
The pattern is worked to a gauge of 7.25 stitches by 10 rows per 1 inch (2.5 cm), measured over the charted pattern stitch. Knitters should use US #5 (3.75mm) 32-inch circular needles, or the size required to obtain the specified gauge. Using the correct gauge is essential for achieving the proper finished measurements and garment fit.
