Product Description
Franz is a very flexible pattern for a slouchy hat that can easily be converted into a cowl with a drawstring.
The pattern is written both as exact instructions for use with DROPS Nepal, and as a recipe that can be adapted for any yarn and any head size.
Due to the very simple construction it would be a good canvas on which to try out different stitches and patterns, for example cables or Fairisle borders, or anything else to try out before committing to a bigger project. These customisations have not been described in the patterns, as there are so many possibilities.
Franz is knitted in the round on circular needles.
