Product Description
The pig is an impressively intelligent mammal, ranking fourth on the smartness scale and only surpassed by clever critters as ravens and dolphins! The expression "When pigs fly" is an adynaton, which means it’s implying an impossibility, stating that something will never happen. But this December, you can create a real magical, marvelous holiday miracle by making this pretty pig... and then spinning a Yuletide yarn about why your own excellent, enchanting Christmas pig desperately desires to fly!
This 14 cm pig was knitted on 2.25 mm double pointed needles (UK 13, US 1) in Phildar Partner 3.5 (004) rose, but the pig can be knitted in any kind of yarn: the size might be slightly different, but the proportions remain the same. It is an easy to medium project with some knitting in the round and an i-cord. The pattern includes directions for the Christmas hat and the angel wings, that can be made from scraps you have lying around.
Have a fable-ous, fantastic Christmas!Viv
