FJODOR Hat

The FJODOR Hat is a classic chunky knit hat.

The hat is worked from the bottom up. First, the brim is worked in half-Brioche pattern, with the “wrong” side of the pattern later becoming the front. The body is worked in stockinette stitch, and double, centered decreases are worked to form the crown of the hat. The distinctive, raised lines that radiate from the crown of the hat are created with the help of slip stitches that are then crocheted on.

Techniques used: Italian cast-on, half-Brioche pattern, centered double decreases, slip stitches (crochet). All techniques used are explained directly in the instructions.

100 (100) 100 g ‚Nepal‘ by Drops (65 % Pure Wool, 35% Alpaca; 75m/50g) together with

50 (50) 50 g ‚Make It Tweed‘ by Rico Design (35% Visose, 35% Polyacryl and 30% Polyamide; 475m/50g) or

75 (75) 75 g ‚Bergamo‘ (75% Pure Wool, 25% Alpaca 65m/25g) together with

25 (25) 25 g ‚Premia’ by Lamana (60% Mohair, 40% Silk; 300m/25g)
