Welcome to the Escape Beanie.
Thank you so much for the compliment of looking at my pattern.
If you’ve already seen (and hopefully downloaded) the Escape Cowl pattern, you will know I have a love for all things geometric. This beanie was the natural next step after the cowl.
This is knit in the round from the bottom up, starting with a simple 2x2 rib section followed by an easily flowing pattern that is essentially just seven different rows of knits and purls, finished off with a decreasing section that carefully maintains the pattern flow.
There are handy progress check boxes at the end of each row so you can keep a visual track of where you are.
