Enjella Bag

Introducing the Enjella Bag: a functional, beautiful bag. This bag is made of two panels, where each panel starts as a spiral, and is then squared off. The bag uses textural crochet stitches: popcorns, back and front post trebles, and back loop stitches to created added interest in surface texture and in the making. The two panels, when completed, are crocheted together to make the bag, and then a simple drop-in lining is sewn and stitched to the bag opening. I wanted the design to be relatively straight forward, so that I could enjoy the rhythm of the stitches without constantly referring to the pattern, but that also included a little challenge. The sample is worked in a dk yarn, although it would also be a good stashbusting project, suitable for an intermediate crocheter. There are two versions of the pattern, one using UK terminology, one using US terms.
