Emergency Amigurumi Easter Egg!

This little cutie makes a perfect alternative to chocolate! Why not try filling up a basket or bowl with a bunch of them, or hiding them around the house for your little ones to find? You can even add squeakers or toy bells for extra fun! You can choose between a rounded or more pointed top for your egg and finish with either a bow tie or fancy ribbon - perfect for making knitted goodies for boys and girls alike!  It only involves knitting flat and is suitable for a beginner/intermediate knitter.  

What you will need: 2 knitting needles (US3/3.25mm or size required to match tension advice), 20g yarn for the main color, 5-10g yarn for the ribbon, 2 black toy safety eyes (9mm), Polyfil stuffing, Toy bell or squeaker (optional),1 tapestry needle for finishing Skills used: Casting on and off, Increasing, Decreasing Stitches used: Stocking stitch, Moss stitch
