Easy Patchwork Blanket

Easy patchwork blanket. Perfect for a beginner. This was a special order from my daughter who designed the look for this blanket.

Level of difficulty: Beginner All you need to be able to do is slip knot, slip stitch, chain, single crochet. Pattern is written in US crochet terms. You will need: 6.5 mm crochet hook, yarn needle, scissors, three (or more) different shades of chunky yarn. I used King Cole Big Value Chunky: 300 g yellow (7 squares), 600 g red (14 squares) and 800 g navy (14 squares and sides). My tension is 13 stitches/ 15 rows = 10 x 10 cm. Each square will be 20 x 20 cm. Finished blanket will be about 104 x 146 cm.
