Three patterns for a matching beanie hat, long scarf and fingerless gloves. All three are knit using the same stitch pattern, a pretty but easy pattern suitable for a beginner. The hat is knit in the round, so it is also a good pattern to practice this technique. The pattern includes directions for small, medium and large woman's sizes.

The pattern calls for readily available I Love This Cotton yarn a very soft cotton. It is used doubled throughout so the patterns work up quickly. Another worsted weight yarn also used double or a chunky yarn can be substituted. You can also substitute another cotton like Sugar n Cream but the items will be stiffer with less drape.
