Product Description

“What shall we do with the drunken sailor, early in the morning?” These nautical-themed socks were inspired by the Drunken Sailor song. They have a ‘drunken’ cable and some ‘rigging’ running down the front, and ‘whitecaps’ sloshing around on the back.

The cabled socks are knit from the top down with a heel flap and gusset. Right and left socks are mirror images of each other. Both written instructions and charts are included for the detailed sections of the pattern.

Sample shown in Artesano Definition Sock Yarn.

Suggested alternative yarns: Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock, Malabrigo Sock, Rowan Super Fine Merino 4 Ply.
